- Which iPhone do I need?
- Requires iPhone with iOS 26.5 or later. Automatic length measurement uses the LiDAR Scanner, which is on iPhone Pro models. On any other iPhone you can still identify the species from a photo and enter the length yourself.
- Which regulations does it check?
- Size and season rules for all fifty states, including many named lakes, rivers and regions with limits of their own. Species identification works anywhere; where a rule is not covered the app says so rather than guessing. Permits and gear rules are never evaluated. Every verdict links to the official page. It is a guide, not the law.
- Does it need a signal?
- No. Identification, measurement and the legality check all run on the phone. A connection is used for tides, weather, the shared feed and keeping your log in sync.
- Who can see where I fish?
- Only the catches you choose. A private catch's location is never shown to anyone. A catch you share with its location appears on the shared map exactly where you caught it; share it without its location and it carries no place at all. Photographs have their GPS metadata removed before they leave the app.
- How do I delete my data?
- Menu → Account → Delete all my data removes every catch, photo, measurement and setting, from the phone and from your account; the account stays. Delete account removes the account and everything in it from our servers: catches, photographs, shared posts, comments, likes and follows. Both are immediate.
- How do I cancel Taklbox Pro?
- In the app, Menu → Taklbox Pro → Cancel subscription, or on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
